The route
Built around five nights in the far north, where the herds cross the Mara river from late July to October. Several days at the river give you more than one chance at a crossing.
From January to March we run the same trip in reverse and swap the north for the Ndutu short-grass plains, where half a million calves are born in a few weeks.

The migration never follows a timetable, so the first evening is a briefing with real information: where the herds were last seen, which rivers they are working, and how we will position you for the week ahead.
