Jabali Africa Travels — Where Nature Takes Centre Stage
“kopjes” — the iconic granite rock formations that rise above the endless plains of the Serengeti.
To us, a kopje is much more than a beautiful landscape feature. It is a symbol of life, shelter, discovery and connection with the wild.
Across the Serengeti, kopjes provide refuge, resting places and vantage points for wildlife. From powerful big cats such as lions and leopards to smaller creatures seeking shelter among the rocks, these ancient formations are deeply connected to the rhythm of life in the ecosystem. This connection inspired the name Jabali Africa Travels.
Our philosophy
At Jabali Africa Travels, we believe a safari should be more than simply seeing wildlife — it should be about feeling connected to nature.
We create high-end, thoughtfully designed safari experiences that take our guests beyond the ordinary. We seek out quieter areas, carefully selected properties and game-drive experiences that allow you to experience Africa away from the crowds.
Our itineraries are intentionally designed with a maximum of two nights at each property, allowing guests to explore different landscapes, habitats and wildlife areas while maintaining a sense of exclusivity and discovery.

At the heart of every Jabali Africa Travels safari are our highly experienced guides.
Our guides bring together extensive knowledge of wildlife, ecology, local culture and the landscapes of Tanzania. More importantly, they understand that every guest is different. They don't simply show you animals — they help you understand the environment, interpret the behaviour of wildlife and discover the stories behind the landscape.
